Laser Cutting and Profile Cutting
Due to unprecedented first and second year success, the armoury of laser cutting equipment has been bolstered by the recent installation of a brand new 4000mm x 2000mm laser, increasing our capacity and broadening our laser cutting capabilities.
We now operate two 4kW lasers capable of productively cutting:
25mm Carbon Steel
15mm Stainless Steel
10mm Aluminium
Our 3000mm x 1500mm laser is also linked to a groundbreaking material-handling appliance.
The Tower Server
The "Tower Server" will facilitate the automatic loading and storage of up to 30 tonnes of raw material.
Automatic delivery into the laser is complemented by fully automated unloading of laser cut components when complete.
"Lights out, Unmanned Manufacture" can be realised and implemented
During each 24 hour cycle we run a one shift system with our lasers providing unmanned manufacturing support the rest of the time.
Simply put; high volume work can be taken on at lower rates than our competition.
Automatic tower loading systems are being implemented across Western Europe to compete with the reduced labour costs of Eastern Europe and South East Asia.
We feel that this type of development will be integral to the future of laser manufacturing in the UK and are proud to be leading the way.
